Give the most
unique
gift this holiday season?

At TalkBox.Mom, we help families to start talking in another language the same day they start!

With a Phrasebook or Homeschool Phrases, your friend or family member will be able to get their toes wet and start using another language!

This is so thoughtful if…

They’ve ever mentioned they’d love to be able to speak
Spanish.

They have an upcoming trip or dream trip to another country!

Their extended family speaks the language or their child is in a language immersion school.

Or you can buy some for your stocking.

You need a thoughtful gift too!

TIME LEFT TO SHIP

STEP 2: Choose a Homeschool Phrases PDF (or two or three or…)

This is a PDF that also works if you don’t homeschool but do homework together.

You’ll receive the cover page to give as a gift, and then we will send the gift recipient the PDF and App Access (unless you’re getting it for yourself.)

STEP 3: TELL US WHO’S GETTING THE GIFTS

After you have at least two items added to your cart, let us know in your order note at checkout who is getting what.

Just put the item name, your friend’s or family member’s name (or write ME), and (if you have it) their email address.

For example:

Use Japanese – Scarlet example@example.com

Use Spanish – ME

Use French – Mindy (I don’t have her email yet)

Homeschool Mandarin & Italian – Jennifer example2@example.com

AFTER CHECK OUT

All physical books will ship to one address. Alternatively, we can break up shipments in the US for $8 for each additional address with gift wrapping and a note with who it’s from.

Add mailing addresses to your order note, and we will send you an invoice for shipping. Once paid, we will ship your order to each address.

We’ll grant App Access and send PDFs for gifts on January 2 and January 3rd. (You’ll receive the cover page to give as a gift.) If you don’t have your friend’s email address now, we’ll reach out to you again on those days or they can scan the QR code with their gift.

BABY, I’M WORTH IT

Before I found TalkBox.Mom, I spent HOURS putting together a small handful of sentences to work on. I even found a company that offers 60 sentences with audio for $150. (This puts the value of the phrasebook at over $4k.) I so appreciate all the value we get from TalkBox.Mom!

  • Laura Cherry Bell

I tried a French tutor and then started TalkBox.Mom. The tutor was not that effective and was very costly. Other families there wanted to know what we were doing because my daughter is speaking French in full sentences. I am really in love with TalkBox.Mom.

  • Ivy Lin

TalkBox.Mom was not a let down! It has been more than expected! We are having fun and actually speaking Spanish! Best/most fun purchase of the year!

HOW TO USE THESE LANGUAGE GUIDES

Use Spanish at Home Book Spanish for Kids

1.

Look for phrases that you want to say, need to say, and say all the time in the language guide!

2.

Practice the phrase with your family in a 5 – 15 minute Practice Session—complete with Native Speaker Audio and fun family memories.

3.

Use the phrases as life happens. Check out the example below to see how this would work for your family!

STEP 1: Choose a Phrase

Use Spanish at Home Book Spanish for Kids

Something I say a lot as a mom is, “Go to the car!”

This would be a great phrase because I say it when we leave the house, the park, or Chick-Fil-A.

My kids also say it to me on repeat if I’m talking too long after church ends.

I would heart this phrase in the book and Companion App.

STEP 2: PRACTICE WITH THE NATIVE SPEAKER AUDIO

This example is in Spanish. TalkBox.Mom offers 11 different languages with more on the way!

To practice the phrase, our focus is NOT on saying it perfectly — it’s on having fun!

If you’re having fun, you can hear better. And if you can hear better, you can pronounce the words better over time.

We want to support each other for trying and putting ourselves out there.

So first practice the phrase with the native speaker audio.

Then, practice the phrase by having your child say the phrase and then you walk to the car. Don’t correct their pronunciation.

They’ll think, “It worked!” and their confidence will go up so that they can hear better.

If you have a baby, practice the phrase by playing the audio and saying the phrase before going to the car.

Yay! You’re off to a great start! ✨

STEP 3: USE THE PHRASE

When it’s time to head out to the car, play the Native Speaker Audio again.

Tell each other to, “Go to the car,” in the language, and then go to the car.

When you’re finishing an errand, play the audio again, say it to each other, and head back to the car.

As you keep using the phrase, it will become a part of your life!

Not only are you learning multiple vocabulary words and how to use them in sentences, you’re also getting an ear for the correct grammar because…

You’re USING vocabulary words in grammatically correct sentences!

WHAT MOMS ARE SAYING

We love learning French phrases that we use in our family every day. From “Are you hungry? and “What do you want to eat?” to “That’s a cool stick,” “I want to jump on the trampoline!,” and “Stop bothering your brother!”

As parents and kids, these are the things we really want and need to know how to say. It’s exciting to incorporate new words and phrases into our daily life so easily.

  • Elizabeth Huang

Y’all know what you’re doing when it comes to fluency!!

In my Spanish university classes, we focused on sentence structure, and I have to think SO HARD to understand/translate the stuff I’ve learned.

With TalkBox.Mom, when we speak, it rolls right off the tongue and requires no translation!

  • Andrea Davis

This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for!

It’s so hard to find programs geared toward talking to children in foreign languages. I love that you guys have done all that “running around” for us, checking the phrases for accuracy and giving them to us with correct pronunciation so I can start talking to my son immediately.

The phrasebook is a physical book with pages you can flip through and write on that will be mailed to you (or to your friend!)

The Homeschool Phrases, on the other hand, is a digital product and includes a PDF you can download.

Both the Phrasebook and Homeschool Phrases come with native speaker audio available in the Companion App.

The phrasebook has over 1,7500 phrases covering over 295 with a couple of phrases on each topic.

The Homeschool Phrases includes more than 450 phrases specific to homeschool and after-school activities.

The phrasebook is packed with general phrases you can use with various tasks and activities throughout your entire day!

The Homeschool Phrases are focused specifically on homeschooling, so they include more detailed phrases that are very specific to homeschool and after-school activities.

These are new phrases, and the cross over between both products is very minimal. We recommend getting both!!

Of course! Be sure to tell them which pages you want printed front to back. We recommend having it printed (1) in color, (2) on cardstock, and (3) front to back, so you can use them longer. You can also laminate your cards if you would like.

It’s against the licensing terms you agree to when you purchase to share the PDF, Companion App, or prints with your friends, extended family, frenemies, students, or co-op. See our terms below for more details.

Of course, they can play with your family, but they cannot take it home, and it cannot be re-printed per student in a classroom or co-op setting. If you would like to do that, please email support@talkbox.mom for our co-op and classroom license.

App access is non-transferable. Your license agreement for the app when buying our program is only for your family living in the same household. It is illegal to allow other families to use your app access or send our audio downloads. Your app access will be revoked without a refund if you allow multiple families to use your access or transfer the ownership.

Our company is made up mainly of women and minorities. We appreciate your support by purchasing our products if you love them and want to use them. Send your friend to the ball challenge, if they want to start!

Absolutely you can! You already learned to speak English! The TalkBox.Mom program helps you learn your next language exactly like how you learned your first! 🥳 You won’t have to worry about memorizing vocabulary or verb conjugations.😅 All you’ll have to do is choose a phrase, have fun practicing and repeating the phrase, and then use the phrase as life happens!

We’ve got you covered! 💪 The Homeschool Phrases and phrasebook include access to our TalkBox.Mom Companion App where you’ll find native speaker audio for every single phrase. 🙌

The native speaker first says the phrase nice and slow, word by word, and then at normal speed! This makes it easy for your family to repeat and practice with the audio.

And the best part about the app is that it’s like having a native speaker in your pocket at all times! Which means you can bring her with you to practice as you go on adventures. 😉

Absolutely! 😍 The TalkBox.Mom program isn’t about how much of the language you know. It’s focused on how much of the language you’re using with your family.🌻 It’s possible to know everything in a language and use nothing with your family.

If you’re not using the language in your everyday life, the program will help you to get on the same page as your kids and actually use it. A lot of native speakers use TalkBox.Mom for this.

If you are already using the language and your kids are responding back in the language easily and natively (not translating in their heads), you probably don’t need this.

That means that your family didn’t do the work. If your family can speak English, they can start using a new language with TalkBox.Mom. If you don’t want to do the work to use a new language every day, do not buy this program.

Yes, your whole family living in your household can use the app! You have lifetime, nontransferable access to the app. Your family will use the same login on multiple devices because you work together to master and check off phrases. This is a team effort!

The app was made for iPhones or Androids. You will need to have a WiFi or data connection.

Nope. This is a family thing where you learn the phrases together.

Your family has lifetime access because you might want to go back and practice things that are fading. Or you might want to repeat the boxes when you have another child or your children enter high school.

When you purchase a box, the companion app and audio downloads are only licensed to your family living in your household. This license is non-transferable. So lifetime access is only for your family living in your home.

You can do that, but there won’t be anything in the app. Only when you purchase a TalkBox.Mom product will the app show that product in it.

Nope! Just add as many phrasebooks and/or homeschool phrases are you want (with a minimum of 2 products) and the discount will be automatically applied on the checkout page.

The phrasebooks and Homeschool Phrases are not part of a subscription series. They’re one-time purchases.
