How can I make TalkBox.Mom fit my budget?

Answered by Eileen

Hi Moms and Dads!

I totally feel you on this question about, “How am I going

to make TalkBox.Mom fit into my family’s budget?”

My family is on a very, very tight budget as well.

My husband works outside of the home and I stay at home and

homeschool our children, so I don’t have a lot of extra

money for the extras.

So I spent a long time trying to decide if I was going to

be able to afford Talkbox.Mom for my family.

What I ended up doing was using birthday money and Christmas

money from my relatives, specifically Aunt Frances.

She gives me money every year for my birthday.

And I decided that I didn’t need to buy new clothes.

I didn’t need to go to the coffee shop.

I didn’t need any new pairs of shoes. That I wanted something

meaningful that I’ve been wanting for a long time.

So I used my money for Talkbox.Mom and it was a wonderful

decision. It’s something that’s meaningful to me, and something

that my whole family can use, and something that I’ve been

wishing for.

So maybe you could find some birthday money or Christmas

money for your family.

Perhaps you can go to the coffee shop less;

if you do that. Maybe not go through the drive-through one

week. Just any little way to save money for your family that

you would be able to put it all together, and buy the phrasebook

for $35 or the TalkBox for $80.

It will be well worth your investment.

And I’m so glad that I was able to do that for my family,

which is on a very tight budget.
