Teaching My 3-Year-Old Niece to Use Italian at Disneyland with TalkBox.Mom

I got to go to Disneyland with my siblings and their families, and you know I had to slip another language into the trip. 😉

Adelaide's kids, nieces, and nephews are sitting together in front of the Mickey ferris wheel at Disneyland.

Between all of the walking, lines, and rides, this trip was the perfect opportunity to add a new Italian phrase into real life—without pressure, worksheets, or “lesson time.”

In this video, I show how I helped my 3‑year‑old niece Mabel use Italian in the middle of all the Disney magic, turning playful moments into real communication. It’s a simple reminder that language doesn’t stick because we use it perfectly every time—it sticks because it’s used.

If you’ve ever wondered how practicing a foreign language with kids can be more natural (even while traveling or having fun), this is exactly what it can look like.
