How to: Learn a phrase you say all the time, need to say, or want to say. Then use it in your everyday life. You can, of course, explain what it means when you use it. Soon, everyone in your family will understand, and you'll be practicing every time you use the phrase.

Repeat after the native speaker as you read along!

HELLO. OF COURSE!

Parents are the greatest, natural language teachers. We teach babies and toddlers all over the world to talk as we help, take care of, and play with them. And we are successful, too. Babies don’t just learn to speak—they learn to speak very well.

Before now, language classes and programs were setup for children to speak in school, for college students to meet university entrance exams, and
for adults to speak in the workplace or as tourists. These classes and programs created a huge barrier for moms.

Do you know many moms who can consistently carve time out of their days to attend a class or listen to a program to learn things they have little
opportunity to use at home? Nope. I don’t either. With TalkBox.Mom, parents can learn and teach a second language while taking care of and playing with their children, even when you’re on bathroom duty wiping bottoms.

(We seriously have a wall chart in one of our monthly TalkBoxes that goes above the toilet to help with all of that.)

The results are astounding not just for the moms, but for the kids, too. The whole family is learning while they do things, embedding language into their minds as they attach meaning and communicate with each other.

It is our goal that mothers and fathers with their children will become the fastest group to start talking in a second language or third or fourth. Whatever our hearts desire.

Speaking German has always been a priority on my long list of “to-do’s”. I just never knew where to start. This book has me and my children (ages 6 and 4) speaking German to each other from day one! I highly recommend this book, and any of the Learn Language books by Adelaide Olguin.

This is a fun book with tons of everyday phrases. It’s well organized so it’s quick to find the phrase you’re looking for. Great for learning the language by incorporating it into your everyday conversations with your children.

This book is the best. It’s so organized and so easy to use! It’s essential for anyone looking to teach German to your kids or learn it yourself! I’d recommend it anyone, I love it.

As a Montessori teacher and mother of five, I find this book easy to use and accessible in the day to day, busy life of parenting. Starting with a few phrases, a child’s mind begins to create neural networks for understanding another language and soon speaking the phrases with the facility that a young child has to learn and master new languages that will last a life time. As a teacher, using some phrases in class can graduate to having the children role-playing courtesy lessons, using phrases in German to have short conversation and ultimately speaking to each other in German on their own. Adelaide Olguin has come up with a creative and innovative method for teaching a new foreign language that is ingenious and ultimately, very practical, as she devised the method with her own children, successfully.

Love this book! It has really useful phrases that we actually use every day. The German audio track is awesome because it really helps me hear how to say it. I bought for a friend who used to teach German in high school and she loved it because you learn phrases rather than grammer. You actually get to learn a language the way we naturally learn rather than how you learn in school. I also bought the spanish one which is great too.
I recommend this series to everyone!

Fantastic and fun way to learn German with your kids, while playing and doing every day activities! So easy to use you’ll be speaking a new language before you know it.

You’ll learn right along with your kids so you don’t even have to have any prior language ability yourself. One of the best gifts you can give your child is the gift of knowledge, and what better way to impart that than to have fun while opening up a the world through learning a new language together? It’s definitely a win win!
