    When we got the beautiful Bilingual in Nature Experience in the mail my kids were so excited! They loved the pretty watercolor paintings, and I loved that we would have something to listen to and actually hear HOW to say the phrases because I am definitely not a native Spanish speaker and had no idea how to pronounce most of those words.

    We try to go on an evening walk, every day, as a whole family, and I loved that we were going to get to incorporate fun language learning into our daily routine and do it outside in nature. My girls like to bring their book along with us!

    I love that Bilingual in Nature gives us whole phrases to say on our walks. While we had a Spanish book for kids when they were younger, it just had individual vocabulary words in it like flower, tree, and dog. We had no way to use those words as part of our daily life and didn’t know what to actually say about those items.

    With Bilingual in Nature we have whole phrases to say! “Look at those beautiful flowers.” and “Look at the dog” Plus our absolute favorite for blazing hot Texas summers, “Let’s go in the shade.”

    Using bilingual in nature was a very exciting experience for my family. My oldest kids would carry the book around with them on our farm and use simple phrases to speak with their younger siblings. The book also exposed my children to languages we haven’t explored such as German and Hebrew. Their interest in linguistics was cultivated by the booklet. As summer is approaching, we are pulling this book off of our shelf once again and remembering and adding to the phrases we learned last summer.

    We are 100% an outside family. We L-O-V-E all things outside and working on our 1000 hours outside challenge. My son was super disappointed when we decided to learn Spanish as a family because he really wanted Japanese while my husband wanted German and my daughter wanted French. 😅 In order to make everyone happy we decided on adding in Bilingual in Nature.
