Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information:
Account Information: We may collect the adult account ownerβs name, email address, login credentials, account identifier, contact information, and information about the TalkBox.Mom products and languages associated with the account. Only the adult account owner may enter and manage account and family-member information in the app.
Family Profile Information: The adult account owner may create profiles only for immediate family members who are authorized to use the applicable TalkBox.Mom products. A family-member profile may include a name or nickname and a selected profile color. These profiles allow family members to appear during Practice Sessions. We encourage account owners to use only a first name or nickname and not to enter a family memberβs full legal name or other sensitive information.
Practice and Progress Information: We store information about the phrases practiced and progress completed through the app. This information is stored for the TalkBox.Mom account as a whole. We do not create or store separate practice histories or progress records for individual family members.
Order and Transaction Information: When you make a purchase through our website, we collect information necessary to process and fulfill your order, such as your name, billing and shipping addresses, contact information, products ordered, purchase history, and transaction details.
Payment-card and digital-wallet information is processed through the payment services available at checkout, which may include PayPal, Apple Pay, and payment services provided through WooCommerce. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

We use this information to send practice reminders, review reminders, service-related messages, and other notifications you have authorized. You may change notification permissions through your device settings.
The TalkBox.Mom mobile app does not collect precise or approximate location information.

We use this information to provide and maintain the Services, authenticate account owners, fulfill purchases, provide access to purchased content, save family profiles and practice history, send authorized communications, provide customer support, protect the Services, comply with legal obligations, and improve TalkBox.Mom products and services.
4. USER CONSENT AND CONTROL
By using the Services, you acknowledge the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. Depending on how you use the Services, you may exercise the following choices and controls:
Marketing Communications: You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages. You may still receive non-promotional communications concerning your account, purchases, security, or the operation of the Services.
Cookies: You may configure your browser to refuse some or all browser cookies or to notify you when cookies are being used. Disabling cookies may affect the availability or operation of certain website features.
Push Notifications: You may enable or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
Family Profiles: The adult account owner may add, edit, or delete family-member profiles through the app. When a family-member profile is deleted, the profile is removed and cannot be restored. Deleting a family-member profile does not delete or change the accountβs overall practice history or progress.
Account and Data Requests: You may contact support@talkbox.mom to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
When we process a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account as appropriate. We may retain order and transaction records when reasonably necessary to comply with tax, accounting, legal, security, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping obligations. Information retained for these purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.
Deleting an account may permanently remove saved family profiles and practice history and may affect access to purchased products. We will explain the applicable effects before completing the request.
5. SENSITIVE DATA
Except for the billing and transaction information described in this Privacy Policy, we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health information or government-issued identification information. Complete payment-card numbers and card security codes are processed by our payment service providers and are not directly received or stored by TalkBox.Mom.
If you voluntarily provide other sensitive information, we will use it only for the purpose for which it was provided and as permitted by applicable law.
6. SECURITY
We implement a variety of physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards include encryption of sensitive data during transmission, secure storage practices, access controls, and regular security reviews and maintenance.
While we work to protect personal information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we remain committed to continually reviewing and improving our security practices.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain personal information for only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain the account and its purchase history, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce our agreements.
Family-profile information is generally retained while the applicable profile remains active. When the account owner deletes a family-member profile, the profile is removed and cannot be restored.
Practice and progress information is stored at the account level and is generally retained while the account remains active. Deleting an individual family-member profile does not delete the accountβs overall practice history or progress.
Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups before being deleted or overwritten through our standard backup process.
To request access, correction, or deletion, contact support@talkbox.mom.
8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your jurisdiction, including the United States. We take steps to ensure that any data transfers are in compliance with applicable laws and are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legal mechanisms.
9. WEBSITE ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING
Our website may use third-party analytics and advertising technologies provided by Meta and other analytics and advertising partners. We use these technologies to understand website activity, measure advertising performance, and deliver or evaluate TalkBox.Mom advertising on other websites, apps, and services. These technologies may use cookies, pixels, or similar tools to collect the information described in Section 3.
The TalkBox.Mom mobile app does not display third-party advertising or permit third-party cross-app advertising tracking.
- CHILDRENβS AND FAMILY-MEMBER PRIVACY
TalkBox.Mom is designed for families to use together under the direction and supervision of an adult account owner. Only an adult account owner may create or log in to an account. Children do not create separate TalkBox.Mom accounts or independently provide an email address or other account credentials.
The adult account owner may create a family-member profile for a child by providing a first name or nickname and selecting a profile color. The profile allows that family member to appear during Practice Sessions. We do not create or store an individual practice history or progress record for the child. Practice history and progress are stored only for the TalkBox.Mom account as a whole.
By creating a profile for a child, the account owner represents that they are the childβs parent or legal guardian, or that they are otherwise authorized to provide and manage that information. The adult account owner can review, edit, or delete family-member profiles through the app and may contact support@talkbox.mom with questions or requests concerning family-member information.
We use family-member profile information to display participating family members during Practice Sessions and to provide and support the familyβs TalkBox.Mom experience. We do not use family-member profile information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.
If we learn that a child has created an account or provided personal information directly without appropriate adult involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information. A parent or legal guardian may contact support@talkbox.mom to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with their child.
11. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
We use third-party companies to help operate and support the Services, including providers of website analytics, advertising measurement, payment processing, hosting, communications, customer support, and other business services. These providers may collect or process information as described in this Privacy Policy and under their own applicable privacy policies.
The Services may also contain links to websites or services operated by third parties, including payment providers and social-media platforms. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that third partyβs privacy policy and practices.
We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
