Hey, and welcome to today’s Phrase of the Day.

I’m Adelaide, the founder of TalkBox.Mom,

and I’m here with Nolan.

We’ve been doing phrases

you can use in your homeschool.

And today’s phrase is a fun one.

It’s, “I like your teacher.”

Which if your kids like you as their

teacher, they can say that.

If they doubt they won’t say it.

Nolan was telling me, “You make me do math.

I don’t know if I like you as my teacher.”

I love you Nolan.

Okay.

So let’s, what we’re going to do is we have a

Phrase of the Day calendar that you can DM us for.

Nolan and I are going to try this out in one

language, but if you have, Nolan, if you

have already the $35 phrasebook,

I’ll show you how to find it in the app, this phrase.

Okay you ready, Nolan?

Let’s do this.

Here we go.

What language do you want to do?

Push the button.

Okay we’re going to do this phrase in Italian.

So you’re going to want to go down to “L”

And then on the top bar you’re going to want to

scroll over to, “Like,” and then we’re going to go

to the phrase, “I like your teacher.”

There’s an option for a male teacher, female teacher.

So we’ll do female.

Are you ready, Nolan? Yeah.

Okay, let’s do it.

Okay, I need to make the volume

a little bit louder, so that we can all hear

this one a little bit better.

So let me make that louder,

and then we can hear that.

Okay now I’m ready.

Okay here we go.

Let’s pull it back. Ready?

“Mi piace” “Mi piace” “il tuo” “il tuo”

“insegnante.” “insegnante.”

“Mi piace la tua insegnante.”

“Mi piace la tua insegnante.”

That was our first try.

I thought that was good for a first try.

What did you think, Nolan?

I was really focused though.

I was, like, really looking down focused.

Do you want to try it one more time,

or do you feel good about that?

I feel good about that.

Okay, so to start using this phrase

just start saying it to your kids

and then they’ll start liking their teacher

even more.

Just let them know.

All right.

Thanks so much for joining us for today’s

Phrase of the Day.

I hope your kids say this phrase to you

to make your day. Okay.

Bye everybody.

See you next week.
