Nolan is the most adorable guy. He will yell out super detailed compliments when we’re leaving a restaurant, which is funny cause he’s so quiet. Like, he’ll say to the hostess at the Original Pancake House on our way out, “Thank you! You made the best pancakes with strawberries on top!” I just love how he appreciates things, down to the very last detail. (And how he tells the hostess.) Use, “You always do such a good job,” the next time you notice a job well done with your kids, friends, or… local hostess! 😉

Hey, Nolan!

Come on up here!

Guess what, Nolan?

“You always do such a good job.”

and that’s today’s Phrase of the Day.

This week we’re doing compliments

and you can DM or comment below

for this week’s Phrase of the Day calendar,

and this is the perfect phrase for Nolan

’cause whether it comes to his math homework

or it comes to drawing something

or cleaning up something

or putting the dishes away,

“You always do such a good job.”

And so that’s a really fun phrase

that we can replace.

So I’m gonna show you where to find it in the App,

and Nolan and I are gonna try it out in one language.

So if you already have—

can you show them the book, Nolan?

If you already have this book,

then you’ll have that app access for the language you have,

and I’ll show you that after Nolan chooses the language.

All right Nolan,

go ahead and choose the language.

You chose German!

Deutsche you chose Deutsche.

Okay, here we go!

So we’re gonna go over to get to this

we’re gonna go to the letter “P,”

that’s how you find it in the app.

And you wanna go over to “Praise”

where we have tons of phrases to sing you guys

So here we go.

So I clicked on “Praise,” and then again

the phrase is, “You always do such a good job,”

which there’s so many in here.

Here we go.

Oh, and in German, I like how it’s said,

“Du bist immer so gut.”

like, “You’re always so good.”

I love it, it’s cute.

Here we go.

And just by the way,

everything’s translated by native speakers.

So they say what they would say in that situation.

So you sound very German,

it’s the idea.

Okay Nolan, let’s say it together, ready?

“Du” “Du” “bist” “bist” “immer” “immer” “so” “so” “gut.” “gut.”

“Du bist immer so gut.” “Du bist immer so gut.”

You do it?

“Du bist immer so gut.”

You want to try it with me?

“Du bist immer” “Du bist immer” “so gut.” “so gut.”

“Du bist immer so gut.”

Nolan, “Du bist immer so gut.”

So this is a fun phrase that we can replace

when Nolan’s doing things,

cause he’s always does so, so great.

Even when he messes up,

he tries again,

which is really good in my eyes.

All right.

Thank you so much for joining us

for today’s Phrase of the Day.. Bye!

looks like Nolan’s getting sleepy!

So we’ll see you guys all later. Bye!

Bye! Bye!

Thank you!
